this photograph intrigues me so much! why isn’t this the most famous photo from 9/11 instead of the falling man? isn’t 2 people holding hands after jumping more significant than 1 man? it makes me wonder what the story is behind this photo, were they friends or lovers? or just strangers who were too scared to jump alone? it shows that people need a helping hand even in their final moments, i love it.

Fucking reblog today; tomorrow. Any day I see it on my dash. Beautiful. I for one think they were strangers. Sometimes it’s easier to care for a stranger, how else would they have found the courage to not only jump, but to look into someone’s eyes and jump. I don’t think I could have done that if I knew the person well.

that’s a powerful photo

I hate when you’re at a dance and there’s all these cute boys but you look like a sewer rat so none of them want to dance with you….

Kids are insane, sick in the brain,
Licking the same wounds,
Sit with the same wound above us,
But we’re different from the others
Cause we share the same pain.
It’s mutual, it’s beautiful.

And all of our tears, and all of our fears
They all come in one form,
And yet with think we’re from a different storm
The ain’t no question how
You’ve got to realize now
That it’s mutual, it’s beautiful.

So how long will we continue to ride this sunken ship?
‘Cause I believe, yes I believe that we can find the surface,
And even though it seems like this airplane is going down,
Don’t be afraid, it will all be okay, see they’re plenty of parachutes to go around.

Time is Just a Melody

Portrait/Logo

I'm Brianne.

I Like:
beaches, stargazing, people watching, hugging, hiking, soccer, reggae, cats, talking, drinking tea, thinking, heart to hearts, picking flowers, candy, making jewelry, dancing in the car, dancing anywhere, having conversations about nothing, taking pictures, driving around, watching trashy television, Les Stroud, going exploring, and pretending to be Nicki Minaj. I mostly just blog... well, whatever I want.
